The jail has one full time nurse on staff.  She performs wellness checks on all inmates during her daily medical rounds.  She purchases over-the-counter medications in bulk to keep costs at a minimum.  She works in conjunction with doctors to insure that patients receive the necessary prescription medications and adequate health care needed.
