The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, August 12, 2011 at approximately 12:50pm the Woodforest National Bank located inside the Walmart store located in the Riverton Commons Shopping Center in Warren County was robbed. A black male was described as being approximately 6’1” to 6’3” tall and weighing approximately 260 pounds wearing a black short sleeve type t-shirt and khaki colored shorts with a khaki ball cap approached a teller at the counter and passed her a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the teller the suspect exited the store.
A two door dark colored vehicle with a dark convertible style top was seen leaving the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lieutenant Magalis or Sergeant Foster at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office 540-635-7100 or 540-635-4128.
