On August 13, 2014 at approximately 2:41 p.m. Deputy J. M. Bates of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wal-Mart located at 10 Riverton Commons Drive for a report of grand larceny.  During Deputy Bates’ investigation it was determined, through the store’s video surveillance system, that an employee of a cleaning contractor, who was hired to complete work during Wal-Mart’s remodel, allegedly took a money bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash.  The contractor’s employee was identified as 31 year old Nathan Zane Mitchell of Mason, Ohio.

Deputy Bates made contact with Mitchell at the Hampton Inn after he failed to show up for work.  Mitchell was arrested at the hotel and subsequently charged with grand larceny.  Mitchell is being held without bond at the RSW Regional Jail pending a court date of September 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Warren County General District Court
