During the 76th Annual Virginia Sheriff's Association Conference held September 14-16, 2009 in Norfolk, Sheriff Daniel McEathron and Deputy Larry Funk were recognized by the Virginia State Police "Operation Heatwave" program and received a Certificate of Appreciation along with a second place trophy.  These awards were presented in recognition of our outstanding efforts to Help Eliminate Auto Theft (H.E.A.T.) in Warren County and within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
