Patrol, Bike Patrol, School Resource, Special Operations, K-9, Animal Control, Commander of the Crisis Negotiations TeamLieutenant Michael Arnold attended the University of South Dakota where he studied Criminal Justice. In 1994, he worked for the Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office in South Dakota, serving as Chief Deputy. After moving to Warren County in 1997, Lieutenant Arnold began his career at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office assigned as a deputy to the Patrol Division. In January 2007, he was promoted to Patrol Sergeant and in October of the same year he received the rank of Patrol Lieutenant. He is the Commander of the Crisis Negotiations Team and the Lieutenant overseeing Patrol, Bike Patrol, School Resource, Special Operations, K-9, and Animal Control.

Civil Process, Courthouse Security, Records Management, Accreditation, E-911Lieutenant Troy Imler attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice in 1987. He has worked for the Corps of Engineers, as a Park Ranger, and for an International Security Firm specializing in executive protection before coming to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in 1988. Lieutenant Imler has worked in every division within our office, progressing through the ranks to his present duty assignment. Lieutenant Imler is responsible for Civil Process, Court Security, D.A.R.E., Records Management, Accreditation, Training, Communications, Victim/Witness Program, and is the Lead Firearms Instructor for this agency. During his career, he also served several years in the Northwest Regional Drug Task Force and the FBI Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force. Lieutenant Imler resides in Warren County with his wife and son.

Lieutenant Magalis has been employed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office since 1998, and has been assigned to the Investigations Division since 2001. In addition, he has served as a member of the Northwest VA Regional Drug Task Force and Northwest VA Regional Gang Task Force. Lieutenant Magalis is a graduate of the Virginia Forensic Science Academy. He remains active with the Northwest VA Regional Drug Task Force as a member of the Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team. Lieutenant Magalis serves as the commander of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Team.
