This link can also be used to pay a traffic ticket or other minor offense on-line and to find information about Virginia’s Judicial System.
Courthouse Security Checkpoint
To avoid delays, and possibly missing your scheduled hearing, it is recommended that you check your pockets, parcels, and your key rings to ensure you have no items that could conceivably be used as a weapon. Do not overlook items such as pocket knives and fingernail clippers. You will not be permitted beyond the checkpoint with anything questionable. Leave these things at home or in your vehicle. Plan ahead and arrive early and allow time to pass through the security checkpoint.
Courtroom Demeanor
The following are some items and activities not permitted in the courtrooms. This is not an all encompassing list.
Food and drinks are not allowed.
Gum chewing is not allowed.
Newspaper reading is not allowed.
Sleeping is not allowed.
Proper attire is required in the courtroom. Clothing items not permitted are shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, any clothing with obscene language or pictures, and any clothing denoting gang affiliation. Head coverings and sunglasses will be removed prior to entry into the courtroom. Conversation in the court gallery will be kept short and will not disrupt court proceedings.
Any communication with inmates, whether verbal or non-verbal, is prohibited. Any communication with inmates will be cause for immediate expulsion from the courtroom with additional possibility of criminal charges being placed against you.

Victim Witness Program
The Warren County Victim Witness Program helps to ensure that victims and witnesses of a crime receive fair and compassionate treatment throughout the judicial process. Our primary purpose is to provide information and assistance, and help victims and witnesses prepare for trial through support and education. Our program serves both the Town of Front Royal and the County of Warren. A partial list of services provided includes:
Victims’ compensation
Restitution
Financial assistance and social services
Victim impact statements
Interpreter services
Employer services
Protection through the use of protective orders, court escorts, etc.
Advanced notification of judicial proceedings
Notification services reference prisoner custody status, victims’ responsibilities, etc.
Explanation of the steps in the criminal justice process
Provide reservations, reimbursements or other transportation services
Counsel victims about their option with respect to the criminal justice process
