Camping For Hunger

For the 13th con­sec­u­tive year, The Riv­er 95.3/WZRV will be host­ing ‘Camp­ing for Hunger,’ from Mon­day, Novem­ber 15th through Sat­ur­day, Novem­ber 20th to raise food, mon­e­tary dona­tions and aware­ness of hunger in the north­ern Shenan­doah Val­ley. This year, Sher­iff But­ler wished to involve the War­ren Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office in part­ner­ing with The Riv­er 95.3/WZRV in help­ing to receive com­mu­ni­ty sup­port and dona­tions on this event for Front Royal/Warren Coun­ty C‑CAP’s food pantry.


The Sheriff’s Office plans to both uti­lize the War­ren Coun­ty Pub­lic Safe­ty Build­ing at 200 Sky­line Vista Dri­ve as a “drop off” loca­tion dur­ing the week and we will have our van and per­son­nel locat­ed at the coun­ty con­ve­nient trash sites to meet cit­i­zens and receive dona­tions on spe­cif­ic days.

Mon. (11/15) 3pm ‑7pm @ 522 North
Tues. (11/16) 1pm — 5pm @ Lin­den
Thurs. (11/18) 3pm ‑7pm @ Hwy. 340 South
Fri. (11/19) 3pm-7pm. @ Shenan­doah Farms
